I grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. I am married
with three children. After high school, I attended
Clemson University and majored in Microbiology. I
completed medical school at the Medical University of
South Carolina. I completed my training at Georgia
Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997.
My interests include foot & ankle, sports medicine,
arthroscopic surgery, cartilage resurfacing, and general
Orthopaedics. I am a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons. I am a member of the American Orthopaedic
Foot & Ankle Society, Virginia Orthopaedic Society,
Medical Society of Virginia and Lynchburg Academy of
Medicine.
I have been a delegate for the Medical Society of
Virginia. I have been a Board member for the Lynchburg
Academy of Medicine. I am the Medical Director
at Lynchburg College. I am also the team physician
for Lynchburg College,
Jefferson Forest High School and the Lynchburg Hillcats. I
am also a Board member of the Virginia School of the
Arts.
