Internship: Prior to joining the staff here, Steve worked in Richmond, VA at Chippenham Sports Medicine clinic and assisted with rehabilitation of student-athletes at the University of Richmond athletic training room. He subsequently joined the athletic training staff at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. He worked on a day to day basis as an assistant athletic trainer with Men's Soccer. He also served as the rehabilitation coordinator for all the varsity student-athletes at Wake Forest. While working with the Men's Soccer team, they won 2 regular season ACC championships, had two appearances in the College Cup, and won a National Championship. Steve's sports medicine experience includes working with the US Men's Indoor Field Hockey team. He provided coverage for that team at the Pan Am Games and the World Cup in Leipzig, Germany during the course of 2002-2003. Steve also served as the athletic trainer for the football team at Blessed Sacrament Huguenot High School in Richmond for 3 seasons. Currently, Steve is working with Liberty University in the Athletic Training room providing physical therapy services for their varsity athletes.

It was in out patient services, I discovered a love for Hand Therapy. In 2000, I was employed by Piedmont Orthopaedic Surgery. I obtained my Certification in Hand Therapy in November 2002. My focus since 1998/99 and has been on rehabilitation of the Upper Extremity and orthotic fabrication.
